Dr. Salimi-Tari graduated from UC Berkeley with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a bachelor’s degree in Near Eastern Studies before attending medical school. Dr. Salimi-Tari also earned a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology and worked in a biotech industry on a Prostate Cancer Research project for a short period of time, before attending medical school. Dr. Salimi most notably has been published in the prestigious journal Blood for hematological conditions.
Dr. Peyman Salimi-Tari completed his medical school at University of Sydney, Australia in 2002. After a transitional year working at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney he moved to the United States of America and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Florida, Jacksonville. Dr. Salimi-Tari completed his fellowship in Medical Oncology at the same university in Jacksonville in June 2008. During his training, residency and fellowship Dr. Salimi participated in clinical research and published papers. Dr. Salimi-Tari has a special interest in Molecular and Targeted therapies.
