At Compassionate Cancer Care Medical Group, the health of our patients is our top priority. Prior to admission into our cancer centers, each patient will be asked whether they have had a recent fever, cough, or shortness of breath. Our staff has protocols in place to decrease transmission of the virus and all patients are asked to bring and wear a mask during their visit. You may contact our office by telephone to schedule a telemedicine appointment if you would like to avoid an office visit. Keep in mind that all telemedicine visits are billed as normal visits. Due to social distancing requirements, we request that patients limit the number of visitors they have in the exam room to one person. Ideally, no visitors if possible.
With the recent developments in the COVID-19 novel coronavirus pandemic, Compassionate Cancer Care is taking additional precautions to protect the health of our patients and our staff. This includes enforcing 100% hand hygiene, rigorous cleaning protocol of exam rooms and treatment areas, regularly wiping down door handles/countertops/other surfaces, and use of UV lamps like this one to additionally sterilize rooms and equipments. As always, please call with any questions, and we hope you all stay safe and healthy during this time.
