Dr. Jhangiani holds many privileged Institutional and Medical Center positions throughout Orange County, Los Angeles County and Riverside County. In 2006, 2007 and 2009 he was originally honored by the Orange County Medical Association as a “Physician of Excellence” and has continued to be awarded the “Physician of Excellence” award over half a dozen times in the past decade. In 2012 and 2013 Dr. Jhangiani was awarded the “Circle of Care” award by Cal Optima.
Dr. Jhangiani has made measurable contributions to cancer Clinical Research and is a principal investigator for numerous trials. He has been an Assistant Clinical Professor at University of Southern California, Norris Cancer Center and University of California Medical Center, Irvine and is currently a clinical professor at the University of California, Riverside. He has specialized in Oncology/Hematology for over 25 years. His focus has also been Bloodless Medicine. Dr. Jhangiani was the first oncologist in Orange County to perform a Bloodless Bone Marrow transplant in early 1999.
